Auckland Airport Pick-up Instructions

 


 

Thank you for booking with us. If you are flying in or out of Auckland International or Domestic Airport, please see the relevant section of this document for your pick-up and drop-off information

 Shuttle Information for Vehicle Pick-Up 

Auckland Airport Pick-Up Procedures (6:00 am to 10:00 pm)

Simply call us when you are ready for pick up on 0800 00 11 10 and proceed to the nearest collection area for pickup.

  • Domestic arrivals - Our pickup location is beneath the Control Tower which is located close to the Jetstar exits by Door 7 (see map)
  • International arrivals - Our pickup location is outside Door 11 – right next to McDonald's on the ground floor (see map)

 

  • Please wait for us in the designated pick-up area, or inside the terminal, if the weather is unfavorable. If there is no Hire Vehicle Transfer Shuttle vehicle waiting in the bay, please call the above phone number so we can be sure to arrange transport for you as soon as possible.

Auckland Airport Afterhours Pick-Up Procedures (10:01 pm to 05:59 am)

We use 'FLYAWAY' for our Auckland Airport Afterhours Pick-up Service

  • Call (64) 21 431 823 or 0800 77 66 99 Option 1 for the FLYAWAY Shuttle service when you are ready for pickup.
  • It is a Radio/Telephone link (RT). Only one person can speak at a time. Please advise your terminal.

 

  • Domestic arrivals - Our pickup location is beneath the Control Tower which is located close to the Jetstar exits by Door 7 (see map)
  • International arrivals - Our pickup location is outside Door 11 – right next to McDonald's on the ground floor (see map)

 

 Shuttle information for Vehicle Drop-Off 

Auckland Airport Drop-Off Procedures (6:00 am to 10:00 pm)

  • Drive your car to our Airport Oaks Branch situated at 22 Rennie Drive, Airport Oaks which is 3.6kms from both Domestic and International Terminals. One of our friendly staff will check your vehicle in and ensure all paperwork and documentation is up to date. We will then take you to your departure terminal by our Hire Vehicle Transfer Shuttle.
  • Please allow an extra sixty (60) minutes before your required check-in/reporting time of your fight so we can be sure of getting you to the Terminal in good time.
  • If your flight is at 8am or before, we strongly suggest you use our out of hours service to ensure you make your flight. See the net section.
  • Please ensure the fuel tank of the vehicle is full. If the vehicle is not filled with fuel there will be an additional $50.00 refueling charge in addition to the actual fuel cost. This cost will be on-charged to your credit card at the time of return.
    • The nearest gas station is Waitomo at 33 Richard Pearse Drive, Mangere
    • This gas station is unattended and you will need a debit or credit card for payment
  • Other additional charges may apply if the vehicle is returned in an unreasonable condition. These costs will be on-charged to your credit card at the time of return.

Auckland Airport Afterhours Drop-Off Procedures (10:01 pm to 05:59 am)

We use 'FLYAWAY' for our Auckland Airport Afterhours Drop-off Service

Drive your car to FLYAWAY situated at 3 Verissimo Drive, Mangere a little more than 3kms from the Terminals. A FLYAWAY staff member will take care of the vehicle once you have returned it. You will be delivered to your departure terminal by the FLYAWAY Shuttle Bus.

Please allow an extra sixty (60) minutes before your final check-in time if departing.

  • Please ensure the fuel tank of the vehicle is full. If the vehicle is not filled with fuel there will be an additional $50.00 refueling charge in addition to the actual fuel cost. This cost will be on-charged to your credit card.
  • Please also note that until such time as the vehicle is collected from FLYAWAYS and returned to our Branch and checked in, you are responsible until that time and this is when the hire is terminated.
  • Other additional charges may apply if the vehicle is returned in an unreasonable condition. These costs will be on-charged to your credit card.
  • Please Note: If you have considerable luggage and/or many passengers and need to drop them off at the Airport before going to the FLYAWAY yard if the yard gates are closed, please call (64) 21 431 823 or 0800 77 66 99 Option 1.

ADDITIONAL FEES

Should you park the vehicle anywhere other than in accordance with these procedures there will be a $150.00 fee in addition to any other direct costs such as parking charges, towing fees and collection of keys etc. relating to the recovery of the vehicle. This cost will be on-charged to your credit card.
