Christchurch Airport Pick-Up and Drop-Off Procedures
PICK UP PROCEDURE - We use AIRPARK CANTERBURY for our Christchurch Airport Service.
AIRPARK CANTERBURY is located at 17-25 Logistics Drive, Harewood (behind the Press Building).
This is located less than five minutes from the airport terminals.
Airpark Canterbury's FREEPHONE number is 0800 13 26 09.
After you have collected your luggage, make your way to the International Arrivals door 9. Near the far exit doors you will find the Airpark Canterbury sign directing you to their free phone. Dial 25 and this will connect you to the Airpark Canterbury 24 hours office.
Airpark Canterbury reception staff will dispatch a shuttle for you.
The shuttle will collect you from right outside the International Terminal as you exit.
Airpark Canterbury expects to have you with your rental vehicle within 10 minutes. You will receive assistance with your luggage from the staff.
DROP-OFF PROCEDURE - Bring your vehicle into AIRPARK CANTERBURY, 17-25 Logistics Drive, Harewood (behind the Press Building).
Select a parking space in one of the 620 marked spaces.
Check-in with the friendly, efficient Airpark Canterbury staff and please do not forget to leave your rental vehicle keys.
Your luggage will be loaded into their air-conditioned Mercedes Shuttle Van which will deliver you right outside the International Terminal exit.
Please allow an extra thirty (30) minutes before your final check-in time if departing.
Please ensure the vehicle is full of fuel. If the vehicle is not filled with fuel there will be an additional $50.00 refuelling charge in addition to the actual fuel cost. This will be on-charged to your credit card.
Should you park the vehicle anywhere other than in accordance with these procedures there will be a $150.00 fee charged in addition to any other direct costs such as parking charges, towing fees and collection of keys etc. relating to the recovery of the vehicle. This will be on-charged to your credit card.
Please also note that until such time as the vehicle is picked up from AIRPARK CANTERBURY and returned to a Hireace branch and checked in, you are responsible until that time and that is when the hire is terminated. If the vehicle is returned excessively dirty a cleaning fee will apply.
