Tauranga Airport Pick-up and Drop-off Instructions

Thank you for booking with us. If you are flying in or out of Tauranga Airport, please see the relevant section of this document for your pick-up and drop-off information

Tauranga Airport Pick-Up and Drop-Off During Business Hours (8:00am to 6:00pm)

  • PICK-UP: Simply call us when you arrive on 0800 00 11 10 or +64 21 026 34240
  • DROP OFF: Drive to our airport branch at 156 Newton Street, Mt Maunganui which is approximately a 7 minute drive from the airport. One of our staff will then use our vehicle transfer shuttle to transport you to your departure terminal.

Tauranga Airport Drop-Off Procedures After Hours (6:00pm to 8:00am)

Step 1: Park the Vehicle – When you are ready to return your vehicle with a full tank of fuel, please enter the Rental car drop-off car park shown on the map above (Number 3 / blue area on the map). Leave the parking ticket on the passenger seat. No need to pay, we will cover this.

Step 2: Lock the Vehicle – Before leaving, double-check that:

  1. All belongings are removed.
  2. All windows are closed.
  3. The vehicle is locked securely.

Step 3: Return the keys

  1. When you enter the airport terminal, you will find the key return safe box located on the wall to the right of the baggage claim area.
  2. Lift the flap of the Key Safe.
  3. Drop your keys inside the slot.
  4. Close the flap again.

Please ensure the fuel tank of the vehicle is full. If the vehicle is not filled with fuel there will be an additional $50.00 refueling charge in addition to the actual fuel cost. This cost will be on-charged to your credit card at the time of return.
Other additional charges may apply if the vehicle is returned in an unreasonable condition. These costs will be on-charged to your credit card at the time of return.

Step 4: You are done! That’s it — you’re all set. You can now continue on your way to the terminal.
