Updates Regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus)

Hireace is committed to providing a safe and clean environment for all our customers and staff.

In addition to the high level of grooming that all vehicles have before a hire; we have implemented additional cleaning procedures. VIRULABS VIRUCLEAR SURFACE VIRUCIDE is a disinfectant which has been developed specifically for reducing the infectivity of coronaviruses, known to persist on surfaces such as metal, glass and plastic. This disinfectant is used extensively in health care and is now part of our cleaning of vehicle process.

We have also implemented the following for our business and staff:

• New Health & Safety Statement
• Pandemic Policy
• Management Plan

We have also ensured that we operate a contactless service where we ask all customers to adhere to the following:

• Keeping safe distances where possible (2m safe distance is a must for all Auckland branches). We are operating with closed gates during Level 4 lockdown
• Making use of our free hand sanitizer
• The EFTPOS machine is sanitized after each use.

We continue to follow recommendations from the NZ Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO) to minimize the risks to our customers and staff members.
